Established in May 2005 by a group of dedicated Okpe citizens, Okpe Voice is non-profit making.
It is devoted to the promotion and defence of Okpe national interest.
The homeland of the Okpe people is located in Delta State, Nigeria. The vision of the Okpe Voice is to be the most authoritative advocate of Okpe national interest in the international scene and in Nigeria, as well as the most reliable source of information on the Okpe Kingdom and the Okpe people in cyberspace. Okpe Voice provides a forum for the articulation of critical issues on leadership in Okpeland. It performs these functions by publishing reasoned papers on all aspects of development in Okpeland - History, Language, Culture, Politics, Economics, etc. It is a cyberspace institute of Okpe studies. Okpe Voice and its domain, www.okpenation.org will function independently, outside the jurisdiction of any existing or future Okpe union or club.
